iOS 9.3.2 & iOS 10 Jailbreak Coming – MOSEC 2016!

Today is July 1st, 2016 (and it’s already July 2nd in China)! Why is that important? I’m glad you asked; the Pangu jailbreak team held MOSEC 2016 on the 1st and the group gave an important presentation at the event. Word on the street is that they may very well release an iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak! But wait there’s more, an iOS 10 jailbreak was also demoed!

Awesome Jailbreak Update

MOSEC 2016 Pangu
Finally we’ve received some guidance from the hacking group that brought us jailbreak utilities for iOS 7.1.x, iOS 8.0.x, iOS 9.0.x and iOS 9.1!

Following the conclusion of Pangu’s iOS 9.3.2 privacy talk at MOSEC, they held an audience Q&A where they allegedly confirmed that a jailbreak for iOS 9.3.2 will be released some time within a week. FINALLY! Although we don’t have direct video confirmation of what Pangu said during the conference, this remains fantastic news and if it pans out, we could all be jailbroken on the latest public firmware by the end of next week.

That’s not all though, as seen in the above gallery, Pangu also gave a “one more thing” demo (made famous by Steve Jobs during his Keynotes) of an iOS 10 jailbreak! This was undoubtedly made possible thanks to iOS 10’s unencrypted kernel on 64-bit devices.

What does this mean? Jailbreaking’s future is looking very bright and we could receive a stream of more frequent jailbreak utilities going into the future!

Ha, after all of the many false expectations I’ve read here of how we should/could have a new jailbreak tool soon… I’ll be believing it ONLY when I see it. And although, of course, I hope this expectation does come to fruition, I’d suggest that all others awaiting a jailbreak look on this the same!
